The Brief: The new company name and branding is based on the national bird of India – the Peacock. Adopting this distinctive bird imagery immediately differentiates the brand from it’s main competitors, who rely on overtly masculine iconography. The senior management of an existing client – Bhukhanvala DS. had completed a management buy-out of the business from owners Hilti. The challenge was to develop a new corporate name, brand identity, stationary and website for the new company quickly, so it could continue to trade during the transition.
